Derek Mallia Talks Wildfires

Dr. Derek Mallia of the Atmospheric Sciences Department recently took part in a panel discussion with PBS Utah on wildfires and the outlook for fire season in Utah this year. There have already been hundreds of wildfires in Utah this year with a large majority being human-caused. 

The panel discussion that included Dr. Mallia is found in Episode 8 of Season 2 of the Utah Insight series from PBS Utah and is titled, "Weather Wildfires, and Climate Change."
