Rep. McAdams Calls for Ozone Study
Representative Ben McAdams is calling for a national ozone pollution study that would
help in explaining why ozone levels continue to increase despite multiple air quality
improvement measures, especially here on the Wasatch Front. He has been collaborating
with Daniel Mendoza due to his expertise and research in air quality and health effects
due to air pollution. McAdams is supporting legislation that would direct the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine to develop new
research and findings about ozone pollution specifically and recommend methods of
mitigation.
