Jim Steenburgh Elected to AMS Council
Our very own Professor Jim Steenburgh has been elected to the AMS Council, which is
the governing body of the American Meteorological Society. His election highlights
Jim's well-deserved recognition in our field. His term will start after the conclusion
of the AMS Annual Conference in January. Jim is one of two new council members from
the academic sector and one of five new council members overall. To read more about
