Utah Alumnus' Arctic Cloud Research featured by AGU

Utah Alumnus Quentin Coopman recently published a study about the effects of pollution on Arctic cloud lifetime in Geophysical Research Letters, which is a journal from the American Geophysical Union (AGU). His research, which was completed during his time at the University of Utah, shows that air pollution from Northern Europe and Asia could be shortening the lifetime of clouds in the Arctic, which play a large role in regulating the region's temperatures. The publication was also authored by one of our department's professors, Dr. Tim Garrett.
