Using TRAX trains to get a picture of inversions in the Salt Lake Valley

Researchers at the University of Utah have been studying air quality measurements taken from TRAX trains traveling throughout the Salt Lake Valley for about 3 years now. Their data is being analyzed and compiled to determine what causes inversions and what can be done about it. Dr. Logan Mitchell, postdoctoral researcher, recently spoke about some of the findings of this study.
