Dr. Steenburgh's Research Group Wins awards at the 2017 AMS Annual Meeting

Congratulations to Dr. Jim Steenburgh's research group members, PhD Candidate Leah Campbell and MS Candidate Tom Gowan, who were each selected as the 1st place poster presentation winners at the 2017 AMS Annual Meeting. Leah's poster "Mechanisms Contributing to the Tug Hill Lake-Effect Precipitation Maximum during OWLeS IOP2b" was selected by the 28th Conference on Weather Analysis and Forecasting.

Tom's poster "Overview of the NCAR High-Resolution (3-km) Ensemble and Validation of Its Quantitative Precipitation Forecasts Over Complex Terrain in the Western US" was selected by the 24th Conference on Numerical Weather Prediction.
