Faculty and students in Atmospheric Sciences are learning more about the inversion
KSL News aired a story about students in Atmospheric Sciences who are taking measurements to look at air quality in Utah. ATMOS 5050: Environmental Instrumentation allows undergraduate and graduate students in Atmospheric Sciences to learn how to build, repair, use, and evaluate instruments commonly used for atmospheric research. In addition to this class, faculty and researchers in the department have installed air quality monitors on TRAX trains and KSL's Chopper 5.
